Gramona, a winery involved in the innovation and improvement of production processes, participates in the VISENS project.
It is a pilot test for the integration of new generation sensors as an aid to decision-making, with the main objective of disseminating knowledge and technology for the digitisation of the Catalan wine sector, using low-cost tools that improve wine quality.
The devices are the product of the experience of winemakers and the technology companies that manufacture the sensors. This new generation of automated analytical systems will improve the quantity and quality of information and will lead to more careful decision-making and control over the fermentation and ageing processes of wine, resulting in an increase in quality.
Project funded through Operation 16.01.01 Cooperation for innovation of the Rural Development Programme of Catalonia 2014-2022.
